Residences and amenities
County parcel records show two buildings: Building A West at 400 64th Avenue and Building B East at 420 64th Avenue. Listing records show one bedroom units of 843 and 1,003 square feet and two bedroom, two bath units of 1,131 and 1,365 square feet, including ground-floor units with patios. County records list two units in Building B East as Suite 12A and Suite 12B, and a 2026 listing describes one of them as a 1,973 square foot corner unit. National listing sites also show three bedroom plans and sizes up to about 2,185 square feet, so ask for the floor plan and square footage of the specific unit.
Listing records and building pages describe these shared amenities:
- A heated waterfront pool
- A fitness center and sauna
- A clubhouse with a kitchen, billiards, a card room and a library
- Shuffleboard courts
- A private fishing pier
- Boat slips, which listings say are leased through the on-site office and subject to availability
- Kayak, paddleboard and bicycle storage
- Laundry rooms on each floor, and a storage unit assigned to each residence
- A gated entrance with a 24-hour guard
A 2023 listing says the association had completed pipe relining, exterior restoration, painting and waterproofing, and balcony repairs. One third-party page says a new seawall and docks were added in a major renovation, without a date. Ask the association for the dates, scope and funding of each project.
Rules buyers ask about
Rentals
Listings from 2025 and 2026 and one agent building page report a 3 month minimum rental. One current listing adds that 2 years of ownership are required before an owner can rent, and one listing that closed in June 2026 shows a minimum lease of 1 to 2 years. Under any of those figures, nightly and weekly rentals are not allowed. Rental rules can be amended by owner vote, so confirm the current minimum, any ownership waiting period, any limit on leases per year, and the approval process with the association before you write an offer.
Pets
Most public sources show no pets at Three Palms Pointe, including listing records from 2021 through 2026, an agent building page and a national rental site, which notes that service animals are welcome. A few third-party pages differ: one national listing site shows both “No Pets Allowed” and “Pets up to 35 lbs”, one agent directory shows cats and dogs allowed, and one listing that sold in December 2025 shows pets allowed with a note to verify restrictions with the association. Get the current rule in writing from the association.
Parking
County legal descriptions pair each unit with the use of a numbered carport or parking space and a storage unit. Listing records show one assigned space per unit, covered for some units, plus guest parking. Confirm which space and storage unit convey with the unit you are considering.
Building condition and condo law
Three Palms Pointe was built in 1974 and is well over three stories, which places it under Florida’s milestone inspection law. Florida also requires condo associations for buildings of three or more habitable stories to complete a structural integrity reserve study (SIRS) and fund the reserves it calls for. We did not find a public record or news report of the community’s milestone inspection status or of any special assessment.
With two buildings under one community, ask the association or the seller for:
- The milestone inspection summary for the specific building, and whether a phase two inspection or repairs followed
- The most recent SIRS and the current reserve schedule
- The current budget and annual financial statement
- Twelve to 24 months of board minutes
- Any adopted or proposed special assessments
- Records for the seawall, docks, pipe relining and exterior restoration work
We did not find public news reports about Three Palms Pointe specifically after Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024. Storm surge from those storms caused widespread flooding along the Pinellas Gulf beaches, and both buildings have ground-floor residences. Ask how ground-floor units, parking, the pool, the docks and building systems fared, how any repairs were funded, and whether any insurance claims are still open. Our guide to Florida condo milestone inspections, reserves and SIRS explains what to look for in each document, and our beach condo buyer checklist lists the questions in order.
Flood and insurance
Listing records for units at Three Palms Pointe show flood zone AE. Confirm the current zone and elevation details for the unit you are considering, especially for a ground-floor unit. Ask for the master policy declarations, including wind and flood coverage and deductibles, and get quotes for your own HO-6 and flood coverage early in your inspection period. Our St. Pete Beach flood zones and insurance guide walks through flood maps, elevation and coverage.
