Seamark Condos, St. Pete Beach

Updated October 2026.

Seamark is a single Gulf-front condo tower at 5396 Gulf Boulevard in central St. Pete Beach, built in 1973, with mostly one and two bedroom units. It suits seasonal owners and full-time residents who want a direct beachfront unit at a smaller size, and it is not a fit for weekly rental investors or buyers with pets.

We are John and Nicole Kavaliauskas, licensed Florida Realtors with LoKation Real Estate. Here is what agent building pages and listing records show about Seamark, and what to confirm with the association before you buy.

Location and setting

Seamark sits on the Gulf side of Gulf Boulevard in the middle of St. Pete Beach. An agent directory describes the TradeWinds Island Resorts just to the north and the Sirata Beach Resort just to the south, which puts restaurants, beach bars and resort activity within walking distance. The same directory places the building about 29 miles from Tampa International Airport.

For more on life on the island, see our St. Pete Beach guide.

Residences and amenities

Sources differ on floor plans. One agent directory describes one bedroom units of about 800 square feet and two bedroom units of about 1,275 square feet. A national building page lists plans from studios up to three bedrooms and as large as 2,550 square feet. A recent listing for a two bedroom, two bath unit shows 1,180 square feet. Ask for the floor plan of the specific unit you are considering, and verify square footage with county records.

Building pages and listing records describe these shared amenities:

  • A heated Gulf-front pool and large pool deck
  • A clubhouse or recreation room with a kitchen
  • An exercise room
  • Gated entry, a secure lobby and closed-circuit cameras
  • Private beach access

A 2026 listing for a unit at Seamark mentions a newly renovated pool. One older agent page describes extensive renovation work at the building, including plumbing, the parking lot, windows, the pool and deck, but that page lists a different street address, so treat it with caution. Ask the association for the scope, dates and funding of recent projects.

Rules buyers ask about

Rentals

Agent directories and listing records show a 3 month minimum, and a rental listing for a unit here shows a 90 day minimum with a rental application fee paid to the association. Seamark is not a weekly or nightly rental building. Confirm the current minimum, how many leases are allowed per year, and the approval process with the association. Our guide to short-term rental rules on the Pinellas beaches covers the city side.

Pets

Two building pages and a rental listing show no pets. Get the current rule in writing from the association.

Parking

A listing shows one assigned space, plus guest parking. Confirm which space conveys with the unit.

Building condition and condo law

Built in 1973 and well over three stories, Seamark falls under Florida’s milestone inspection law and the requirement to complete a structural integrity reserve study (SIRS) and fund reserves for the items it covers. Request:

  • The milestone inspection summary, and whether a phase two inspection or repairs followed
  • The most recent SIRS and the reserve funding schedule
  • The current budget and annual financial statement
  • Twelve to 24 months of board minutes
  • Any adopted or proposed special assessments

We did not find public news reports about Seamark specifically after Hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024. Storm surge from those storms caused widespread flooding along the Pinellas Gulf beaches, so ask how ground level areas, the pool, parking and building systems fared, how repairs were funded, and whether any insurance claims remain open. Our guide to Florida condo milestone inspections, reserves and SIRS explains what to look for.

Flood and insurance

A listing for a unit at Seamark shows flood zone AE. Confirm the current zone and elevation details for the unit you are considering, ask for the master policy declarations including wind and flood deductibles, and get your own HO-6 and flood quotes early. Our St. Pete Beach flood zones and insurance guide explains what AE and VE mean for owners.
